A very warm welcome to my website! Here you will find details about my professional counselling, coaching and psychotherapy service. This covers the coastal town of Bexhill-on-Sea, and surrounding Rother District, in East Sussex.

Are you:
Finding life challenging, struggling with problems and personal issues?
Feeling overwhelmed, anxious and stressed by the difficulties?
Wanting to build resilience and find new strategies for coping?
Seeking a non-judgemental counsellor to listen and offer support?

I am a registered member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP) and work within their Ethical Framework for the Counselling Professions, formally adopted 1st July, 2018.

I am an integrative counsellor, coaching and psychotherapy practitioner which means I incorporate a wide variety of proven talking therapy approaches and techniques into my work with clients, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) and SMART goal setting, as deemed appropriate, and based on individual client need.

I provide ongoing counselling, coaching and psychotherapy. This can be accessed by meeting face-to-face, telephone or Zoom video call. Sessions can be on a short, medium or long-term basis and arranged for a fixed, or open-ended period of time.

My therapy practice venue is in Bexhill-on-Sea in the Rother District area of East Sussex.

If you are currently facing a difficult time, feeling stressed, and finding it hard to cope then well done for owning your vulnerability and having the courage to take the first step in seeking help. Throughout our therapeutic relationship, I will guide and support you in working your way through your thoughts and feelings. I will help you to deal with whatever problems are troubling you. This will enable you to manage things differently and develop new strategies for coping and dealing with your current situation. It doesn't matter if you have had counselling, coaching or psychotherapy before, benefitted from it and are now looking for more sessions, or you are new to talking therapies and seeking out help and support for the very first time. Your road to recovery starts here!

    My Approach:

As a professionally qualified and experienced counsellor therapist, I bring warmth, sensitivity, awareness, compassion and humour to the development of a confidential, relaxed and trusting therapeutic relationship with you.

I will provide you with a regular, safe, private shared space in which we can explore together, as therapist and client, your thoughts and feelings and how they impact your current attitudes, behaviour and general health and wellbeing.

I will listen attentively, and with patience, to what you have to say; show you empathy, respect and acceptance without making any judgement of you or your situation.

I will support you in finding your own insights and understanding of your difficulties so you can move forward, through any feelings of stuckness that you may be experiencing, and bring about the change you desire.

I will encourage, and help you, to solve your own problems; gain confidence in yourself and enable you to deal with any future life challenges which may occur; building your personal resilience, including establishing a range of strategies for coping.
